The 1st thing you will notice in my T-shirt “The Damn Drums are too Loud!”…. there is no one playing them…. They are already too loud when they are set up… with no one setting at them….
When did drums become the melodic instrument for all music, than should be the loudest tyhing in the band all the tme? They are a rhythm instrument… They are there to keep time and not cover up the solo instruments…. Play loud when it is your solo…. Hell, most of the time all you can hear is the drums!
A great drummer with taste is hard to find now days…. They all seem to think they’re the featured soloist all the time….
